A white satin upper and a red sole – the BD138 Red Sole Satin White combines the classic closed ballroom shape with a contrasting detail. It is a BD Dance shoe for women, made for the slow waltz, Viennese waltz, tango, foxtrot and quickstep.
Compared with the round-toed BD137, this model has a pointed toe and a strap that crosses the foot diagonally rather than straight across. Closed with a built-in crystal hook buckle, it holds the foot through quick quickstep steps and turns. The insole is leather and the sole is suede.
This version is made only with the lower flared heels:
- 5 cm EH11 – the most support, intended for beginners and long practice sessions;
- 6.5 cm EH10 – a little taller, for when you want more lift without going to a high heel.
White goes well with light-coloured dresses, while the red sole gives the pair some character. Your foot length and the size chart will help you choose the right size.

Clean satin dry with a soft brush; spots – with a barely damp cloth.
Brush the suede sole so it does not get slippery.
Dry at room temperature, not near a radiator.
