At first glance BD 217 PU Tan looks much like BD216, but its five-strap front is joined by a central T-bar strap over the top of the foot. It holds the foot from above, so on a high heel the foot slides forward into the shoe less.
And the heel here is high: the EH13 is 8.5 cm and slim. It stretches the silhouette but calls for firm balance on the ball of the foot, so the model is better suited to experienced dancers. Arch support carries the instep, and the flexible sole lets the foot bend and point fully.
The upper is synthetic PU leather in a medium tan shade that continues the leg line. This BD Dance model is made for cha-cha, samba, rumba, paso doble and jive.
On a high heel you notice a loose shoe straight away, so take care with the size: measure your foot and compare it with the size chart.
