Black is the versatile option: it goes with almost any practice or competition outfit and disappears against black fishnet tights. BD2360-1 Satin Black is a black satin Latin dance shoe for women from the BD Dance line.
The model has an 8.5 cm slim EH13 heel. A heel like this:
- emphasises a stretched foot line in samba and rumba figures;
- is narrow, so it takes more balance than a flared heel;
- suits dancers who are already used to dancing on a high heel.
On a heel this tall the shoe must not shift. That is the job of the adjustable strap and the interlaced front straps, which hold the foot from several directions, while arch support carries the instep. The leather sole is flexible, so pointing the foot comes easily.
