The SD609 comes in three versions: white satin, medium tan (Tan2) satin and white eco leather. SD609 Eco Leather White is the last of these – white, smooth-surfaced and suitable for both studio practice and performances.
What do all three share? The same sandal construction. Two buckles fasten the front, the closed heel stops the heel from slipping out, and the strap over the ankle and under the foot draws the shoe close to the foot – so it stays put in turns.
Eco leather looks close to natural leather, and in the Soul Dancer line it helps keep the price down. The manufacturing technology comes from BD Dance, so what differs is the material and the packaging, not the way the shoe is built.
The kids' heel (EH45) is designed for young dancers. As a girl grows, measure the foot again each time and find the exact size in the size chart.
