Built for competitions and shows, BD417 Patent Black men's Latin dance shoes stand out with a glossy finish: the black patent leather catches the light and looks sharp on the floor. It is the same BD Dance model we also offer in leather, canvas and nubuck.
Under the shine sits the same build as every other BD417. The sole is split in two, so the arch bends freely and a pointed foot looks cleaner. The leather outsole helps you whip into a turn and come out of it steadily, and the insole is made entirely of leather.
The EH40 men's Latin heel is higher than a standard heel and keeps the weight on the ball of the foot – samba and jive steps feel quicker, while in rumba and cha-cha you can feel the footwork more clearly.
Patent leather usually stretches less than regular leather, so choose your size carefully using the size chart.
