Black satin is a practical choice for everyday training: black shoes go with almost any rehearsal outfit and with a dark competition dress. The SD138 Red Sole Satin Black adds a red sole to this classic.
The shape follows the BD138: a pointed toe and a strap running diagonally across the foot, closed with a hook buckle. The strap wraps over the top of the foot, so the shoe stays put when you change direction or turn.
It is a closed ballroom shoe for women, made for the slow waltz, Viennese waltz, tango, foxtrot and quickstep. The heels are 5 cm (EH11) or 6.5 cm (EH10), both flared, so the foot has steady support even through a lesson lasting several hours.
The model comes from Soul Dancer, the BD Dance line that keeps the same manufacturing technology but uses synthetic materials and simpler packaging, so the price is lower. Check which size to order in the size chart.
